Individual Therapy

Please contact us directly for our current rates for individual therapy. We are unable to accept any insurance for individual therapy; however, we can provide billing statements that can be submitted to insurance for possible reimbursement.

 

Group Therapy

The out-of-pocket rate is $150 per DBT Skills Training group session and $125 per MEET group session. If you are paying out-of-pocket, we can provide a billing statement that can be submitted to insurance for possible reimbursement. All group members are expected to pay the full fee for any missed group sessions, regardless of reason.

For MEET Groups only: We currently accept the following insurance: Aetna, United Healthcare, and Blue Shield of California (Magellan). If we are out-of-network with your insurance company and you would like to pursue the option of a “single case agreement” i.e. an arrangement that allows you to see us at the in-network rate, please contact your insurance company for more information as well as refer to this helpful guide created by Emotions Matter, Inc.

We do not accept insurance for any DBT Skills Training Groups.

Intake Assessment

The intake assessment for any of our skills training groups is a separate service from the program. The cost of the intake assessment is $250 for a 50 minute individual session with one our SFDBT-affiliated therapists and we are unable to accept insurance for this service. This includes coordination of care with individual therapists and other healthcare providers as needed. There is a 48-business hour cancellation policy for this appointment. Any appointment cancelled without at least 48-business hour notice (including “no shows”) will be charged the full fee, regardless of reason.

This includes providing a helpful guide in how to utilize “single case agreements” with managed health care agencies to access treatment for BPD.
